It’s NOT Therapy

I think it's safe to say that most of our parents are not in therapy.

And it's probably also safe to say that they don't sit around recounting deep held memories and emotions with their friends, things like:

  • what impact their parents made on them - good and not so great.

  • how they felt when they met their beloved and what kept them together

  • how they got through a tough divorce

  • their biggest accomplishment and who helped them get there

If you're one of the lucky ones, you have your person - the one you open your soul to. But let's face it, many of our parents are private and would never go there.

Family Love Letters is not therapy! But it is a chance for your parent to be able to talk about their life experiences in depth.

"I did all the talking," is what Barbara said at the end of our 60 minute call. She talked and I listened. I asked follow-up questions and she talked. It was natural and just great.

Want to give your parent the gift of conversation? Let's chat about how to make that happen.
