The Knitting Queen

Ms. Barry, who at 83 has never use email, has become a TikTok sensation. She's been knitting since she was a kid in Ireland, and it was through TikTok that the costume designer of "The Banshees of Inisherin" heard of her mad skills. 

Ms. Barry was just doing what she's always loved. Sounds a lot like my clients who claim, "The key to success is to do what you love."

For Ms. Barry, while she wishes this had happened long before, she sees a powerful upside. "Because you get older, it doesn't mean that you're not useful anymore. There's a lot we can do, if we want to." 

You don't have to be 83 to feel irrelevant. How many 50 year old women think we've missed the boat to do something new, to be useful? That was me just before my youngest went off to college.
